Egg, London – Hollywood Forever Halloween Party

Held on Friday October 31st Egg will be making it’s annual transformation into a ghoulish club night with head lining acts to include Hector Couto, Cuartero, German Brigante plus loads more. The theme is ‘Hollywood Forever’ so if you plan on going you’d better pick out your favourite A lister to impersonate and get that fake blood flowing. You can save money on your costume too if you’re clever with your choices of celebrity; just go as Charlie Sheen or Michael jackson and you won’t even need the blood. Although for all you method actors out their, it isn’t advisable to even consider these people. Expect house and techno well into the early hours of the morning.

Primevil – at Dinosaur Adventure

Already established as Norfolk’s biggest Halloween experience ‘Primevil’ is set to be even scarier this year with the addition of the ‘Nightmare Clinic’ during which you will face your fears…but perhaps gain new ones. This is a truly immersive experience not for the faint of heart or unaccompanied  toddlers, so you may want to invest in an adult diaper or something. If you’ve ever been to such attractions as the London Dungeons then you’ll likely be familiar with loons running around or sneaky men whispering in your ear, but we fear (yes we fear) the likelihood of pee is considerably high at this particular event. Get your tickets and party into the night.

Vauxhall Fireworks Display

As part of the Vauxhall fire festival, the fireworks display, taking place on Friday 31st in the Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens, will be an epic celebration of Hallowe’en with a Monster Mash fancy dress party, the Haunted Tea House, film screenings and of course the fireworks and huge bonfire. It opens at 6.30pm and is opened with a ‘Rock Opera’ as well as fire breathing and other performers; this is a fire festival so expect an evening of thrilling pyrotechnics to dwarf your local bonfire night. Fire is fun…but dangerous! but fun.

Tulleys Shocktoberfest Scream Park

This event is designed to make you jump, and scream, and jump again; it’s been voted as the UK’s No. 1 Hallowe’en attraction and is host to more haunting attractions than there are maggots in a rotting head. It has 3 food courts, performers to scare the food back out of you and new for 2014 is Zombie Paintball; yes, we liked the sound of that too. The event is running from now until the end of October and you will need tickets so you’d better get in quick before they sell out.

Nightmare…On Camden High Street

Not strictly in October (November 1st) this all day festival in celebration of Hallowe’en looks undeniably fantastic. There’ll be a massive buzz about the streets as the many venues play host to spooky goings on with a massive line up of 120 bands. You’ll need a ticket to access the participating establishments so book in advance here to secure your place. If there’s a particular bar/band you want to see then you’ll have to make sure you get there in plenty of time because there is a capacity limit on all venues.
